Week's End - The Trouble with the Truth

If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you. --
Oscar Wilde

Well, then. This weekend, I'll be keeping my mouth shut in public (mostly). Having to self-censor--more than usual.

Yesterday, I enjoyed the new film, Paris. Very good cast, very French, & non-clichéd. It's not for people who will be upset that the Eiffel Tower is seen but briefly. But it is much, much more the 'truth.'

ciao/xo/more & better posts soon/maybe

I'm so out of the loop with new films, seems an age since I went to the cinema. I will try harder

Oh, man. There are people furious, furious I tell you, about everything. I hold strong opinions, to be sure, but some of these folks are wearing me out. I don't dare tell them anything approximating 'the truth.' (Like: get some therapy. You are yelling about a farmer's market, for crying out loud, because Michelle Obama facilitated the opening. Just a for instance...)

On the film front...I know. I'm near two good places or I might not go as often. It's the prices that stop me from seeing as many as I used to. It's not just an investment in time, but $. Still, I hope you go to something soon (though London prices give me sticker shock.)
