Update on Wednesday. 7 October afternoon: High scary winds felling trees & wreaking havoc with our power supply. More later but please, if so inclined, go to Made4Aid & do a little early (do-gooder) holiday shopping. Pretty please? Why, what are you doing? Looking at photographs from the GG blog. Looking at piles of to-do lists. Wondering where, what, how...oh yeah, the truth. Nah. Figuring out if I should have Cheerios or make real dinner. (Real dinner. I'm an adult, fer cryin' out loud.) Thankful I have a choice. Pondering riddles & perturbed at much...yet, none of these should be in a blog. So closed for business today.

Very upset about Gourmet and the other mags Conde Nast is pulling the plug on...
The thing is,Jo...there was a way they could have kept Gourmet, at least...even 6 issues a year. It could be done.
M-L...I hear you. I wonder if you're still in NYC. I'll check tomorrow. As it is, I cannot remember why I logged back on. If you see this before I look on AUREA, the lavender roses. My mother used to have those when I was little. Always thought of them as the most sophisticated.

I'm so out of the loop. No more Gourmet?
I have hundred of clippings from that magazine.
But, meh, it hasn't been the same since they reduced it's dimensions, 15 or so years ago.
I hope Susan and the kitty are doing fine.
