looking at the snowdrops was one of my great pleasure whilst traipsing through the fields with the pups the last few weeks. we walk down about a block and a half from the the house, then head up the 'stettener berg'. all along the way there are small white clusters of snowdrops, but when you hang a right at the stables, the entire slope was covered with them. even if my fingers were numbed from the cold and my shoes speckled with mud from the rain, my mood would always rise just looking at them nodding and bobbing at me as we passed.
